What Is the Lowest Vision That They Will Perform Lasik Surgery On?
I want to get lasik but Im afraid my vision isn't bad enough. I have -2.00 in both eyes and -.25 astigmatism. I wear contacts but i get sick of putting them in and taking them out everyday and not being able to fall asleep watching tv and not being able to see the clock when I wake up. Would I be a good candidate for it? I have still have to wait though b/c even though im old enough my eyes haven't stablized yet.

Your prescription is well within the range that they do LASIK on. Prescriptions like yours often yield the best results.

LikeDislikeYour prescription is not too small for lasik. Once your prescription has stabalised and you are of the right age, you can book in for a full laser consultation and they will go through all the options that are available for your eyes

LikeDislikeI used to get them, but they changed the base formula. I am now allergic to a main ingredient that was NOT in them in the past. Can't really rmrmber the name of it, off-hand...but it was the same thing used as a preservative in my contact lens solution, to which I developed an allergy. Then I developed an allergy to the contacts themselves... so then I had lasik surgery. Not the most successful, but certainly not a failure.
So the fact that they are now having lotteries to determine the Flu shot winners around here, makes NO difference at all to me.
But I'd suggest looking into the statistics on SAFETY if you're thinking about it for kids. See which actually is more dangerous - the FLU, or the SHOT?

LikeDislikeI think my flu shot is killing me. My arm aches. I fell asleep watching Blues Clues with the girls. I'm having tea now.
